Factors That Affect Your Sex Life
With women today involved in so many daily activities, the stress can be so overwhelming that sometimes it leaks into other parts of our lives, including our sex life. The mind is the most sensitive sexual organ and when a woman isn't in the right place in her mind, she won't feel right in her body. Female Sexual Dysfunction is both a physical and mental problem and needs to be treated on both levels.
The cause of Female Sexual Dysfunction, or FSD in women can be caused my many varying factors. Firstly the psychological factors behind FSD can include but are not limited to stress, anxiety, fatigue, depression, low self-esteem, sexual boredom, sexual aversion due to past abuse, drug or alcohol abuse and even distractions in daily life.
There are diseases and conditions that can also cause and affect Female Sexual Dysfunction. The physical factors behind FSD can include, but are not limited to menopause, diabetes, arthritis, cystitis, urinary incontinence, obesity, high blood pressure, vaginal infections, pelvic disease and imbalance of hormones.
Along with the physical and mental issues behind FSD, there are relationship factors that can contribute to the decrease in sexual libido. Lack of communication, both sexually and otherwise between partners can be a huge contributing factor. Women who don't share their thoughts and worries with their mate and who keep it bottled up inside are only causing more inner stress. Routine love making while nice can become boring and cause a woman to lose interest in sex along with strained relationships, control or dominance issues and abuse. All of these are definite contributing factors.
It is important to know that FSD is not a disease. It is simply a syndrome that includes lack of intimacy, sexual desire and sex drive. It can even cause pain during sex. These are just general examples and the signs and symptoms vary from person to person. But all of the symptoms and signs cause a woman to live with a less than satisfying sex life. It is important if you are experiencing any of these signs that you speak with a licensed physician. There may be other underlying problems that are causing these symptoms including high cholesterol or some other factor.
